When looking for a house, we wanted to find a great house for great price...who isn't, right? We searched for a long time on our own using various MLS search sites.

When we met our agent he was able to set up a MLS search criteria that could narrow results down to exactly what we wanted, where we wanted. What made this so special is that we would get an email whenever a new property hit the MLS database. We ended up finding a great deal on a house and picked up after being on the market for only a week.

We had a great time look through houses until we found the right one. Our agent was really honest with us and would tell is why not to buy certain houses we were interested in. We felt like we were in great hands and his experience and knowledge gave us great peace of mind in making the largest purchase of our lives.

Buying my first home was an great (yet stressful) experience. We ran into some problems right away; bank owned homes (foreclosures), banks with tight fists on their money, and investors buying houses out from underneath us.

With an economy going down the drain, there were more and more bank owned homes. Each house had its own problems and each bank had its own tricky requirements.

My agent helped me sort through the confusion. He also showed me what was not a really "good deal." He helped me spot problems on houses that I never would have thought to be looking for.

He was also very patient with me. I was kind of picky with what I wanted, but after months of looking, my agent was able to help us get a great house for an amazing price.
